Our Mini Vacation =)

Dallin and I usually like to take a mini vacation right before we start school in the Fall. We didn't have the chance to go to Washington to camp with his family because of my work, but I was able to take some days off to come down to Utah and go to Lagoon and Seven Peaks. At my work, we get points every day after 60 calls. I had over 4500 points and I decided I didn't want to pay for Lagoon tickets since they are $45.00 dollars a person, so I got them with my points =) I was very happy because we had been wanting to go for a while, but we just didn't want to spend the money on tickets.

Let me tell you how our week went. Thursday we drove to Salt Lake City to go to Seven Peaks at around 11 am. Once we got there, we found out that the parks were only open from 4-8 pm and we were very irritated. Anyways, we ended up going out to lunch with Melissa, my sister in-law. Then we went to the new City Creek Mall and went shopping.... Something we should have never done. We always manage to spend more than we should. lol From 4-8, we went to Seven Peaks and it was amazing. I don't have pictures because they are on my camera, but I'll put them up on Tuesday when we get back.

Friday, we woke up and drove to Farmington, since that is were Lagoon is located and we had a blast. We went on ALL of the rides and by the time we finished I was ready to throw up. I felt dizzy and there was no way I could ride any other roller coster or slide at Lagoon Beach.

It was an amazing day full of rides and lots of fun! 

After the park, we went to a Chinese restaurant and let me tell you, it was amazing!!!!!! we ate so much that I felt so sick after. 

Our night also consisted of camping out outside under the stars with Melissa, Sam, Hannah, Julia (Mel's old roommate). It was a lot of fun

You know you are a poor college student when ....

So, Dallin and I had the one of the best days at rexburg only with $16 dollars !!! We took advantage of all of the deals that were happening in Rexburg. Our day consisted in waking up, attending the gym, coming back and cleaning our home specially our hamster home. (yes we have a hamster and we LOVE him ). The water park Rexburg Rapids had a 50% deal so both of our tickets were $5.00 dollars.

After the water park Costa Vida was having an special of buy one burrito and get the next one free. So Dallin and I got our meal only for $7.00 Dollar. 

Usually our bill a Costa Vida is between $16-18 Dollars and TODAY was $7.00 with a drink =)

our last place was Kiwi Loco. They were having a deal $2.00 dollars for a loaded 5oz cup, ....

We really loaded our cups ...

                             And to top it off we finished with a redbox movie ( The Hunger Games)

All this fun for just $16.00 Dollars. 

I love spending time with my hubby specially when we get all of the deals that we got TODAY ..

"Making a Colorful Statement"

Monkey Rock with my Mom !

On monday we took my mom to Monkey rock. She saw a picture of us at Monkey rock two years ago and she wanted to go. We had a lot of fund but she was to scare to get in it really far because it was to cold.

It was an amazing week with my mom. She left tuesday and my sister left wednesday. I miss the already so much. I am a bit nervous for my sister she will be flying to chine on the 24. Super Happy for her but extremely nervous . I wish her the best !

Mesa Falls where Dallin Proposed to me !

The next place we took my mom to explore was Mesa Falls where Dallin took me an ask me to married him. Two years ago the seven of August he ask to be his wife and I could had not been happier. There is been times were we want to kill each other but most of the times we enjoy each other company I guess that is marriage right ??? . Dallin and I have been very fortunate to have great jobs while attending collage and families that have helps us in our marriage to make it the way it is. I am also grateful for the church and for the blessing that the Lord has giving us.
